Dear all,
on my receiving station I have ~500 messages/sec but the receiver rate on my receiver profile display a very lower number at the same moment.
Below two screenshots taken at the same time.

We are currently experimenting a little bit. 
In particular, whether we need all Mode S messages in highly redundant areas with 60+ sensors in close range, which causes a lot of unnecessary load on sensors and servers. We still want to get all of the messages at least once (often multiple times) of course. So there can be a discrepancy between those received and those sent to the server.
