Hello from Saskatoon Canada

Hello from Saskatoon, Canada.
Glad to be able to fill part of the empty space in western Canada. Max range in the first couple of days of feeding was 451kms.

Using a homemade 11.5 element coaxial collinear made from 3/8 inch LDF2-50 heliax, with a 20ft feedline of 1/2 inch LDF4-50 heliax, the FA ProStickPlus dongle is roof mounted along with an OrangePi PC in a heavy aluminium box. Power is via passive power-over-ethernet.

This particular combination has been running continuously since last autumn, and has withstood temperatures below -40 degrees Celsius during the winter.

Glad to contribute.

Wow, that's a massive setup with a massive coverage :-) Thanks for sharing! Btw: what's causing the minor decrease in range in north-west direction? Another building? A mountain?

Thank you.
No buildings in the way, and no mountains out here. This part of Canada is generally considered quite flat.
It has been said in fun, that it's so flat here that if your dog ran away, even after three days you still wouldn't lose sight of it.

The minor decrease to the northwest, only visible on some days and completely filled on others, leaves airspace for a military base.
