Call sign to Origin Destination was created by fweens
Hi there!
The states/all API call returns plane data including call signs which is great.
But from there how do I find the origin and destination airports ?

Hi,
Well, this is ADS-B data, which does not have that kind of information. OpenSky does not currently integrate external flight plan information, so your only option without using some external source would currently be to find the location of take-off and landing and then see what airport is there (e.g. openflights.org/data.html).

Alternatively you can join the yahoo group which creates the flightroutes files for Planeplotter in ICAO and IATA 3/4 letter codes

However, you have to ask the fileowner (David J Taylor, Edinburgh.) in writing for permisssion to use this SQL db in any other software than Planeplotter.
