Server source IP address

I have just configured my ads-b receiver, RPi with software from www.adsbreceiver.net, to feed you and it appears to be working well
Do you use only one IP address or do you have a range? - So I can configure my firewall.

Yes, the data is currently harvested from only one server. We'll inform you as soon as something changes. Also, we're building a feeder, so opening the port to the Internet won't be necessary in the future.

Thanks very much for supporting our project!

Thanks. Currently running on my test receiver, I have been experimenting for a few months, so hope to be a stable source for you.

Hi are there any updates in case of providing a feeder?

Has this been completed? OpenSky seems to be the only site that requires router port forwarding and opening of ports on home PC/Pi in order to feed data.
Thanks

Sorry, we might have forgotten about this thread.

There is good news! We offer a feeder for dump1090 and Raspberry Pi for quite some time. See this page for more information.

Thanks.

I have re run the two lines as it stated 'wget opensky-network.org/files/firmware/opens...der_latest_armhf.deb' and
'sudo dpkg -i opensky-feeder_latest_armhf.deb' and added my OpenSky Username when requested but receiver not showing on my dashboard. Also I don't recall ever seeing a serial number, how is this supplied, how can I get it?

Regards

It's a bit cumbersome but usernames are case sensitive and you entered "phil987". Sorry for that. I fixed it and you should see the receiver now.
