Help needed network problem was created by pbell283
Hi guys anyone know the login details for the receiver kit they send to you? I cant connect mine to lan as I cant find it on my network so I need somehow to find out the ip address anyone know how I can do this ?

Nope, there should be no need to install a fresh copy. We've installed the latest version and configured the device according to the network settings you requested in your application (see email). You should be able to connect to the device with the given IP.

In case your local network configuration has changed in the meantime, I guess the easiest solution is to re-install the firmware to the SD card as described in the manual above. The other option would be to create a temporary local network using the same IP address range as the old one and then connect and re-configure the device via SSH.

If you have enabled SSH on your receiver as described in section "Enabling SSH" and if your computer is on the same network as your receiver then you can log on via SSH. By default the login credentials are

user: pi
password: oskydefault

thanks got ssh into it but getting this error on the webpage

Problem fetching data from dump1090.
AJAX call failed (error: Not Found). Maybe dump1090 is no longer running?
The displayed map data will be out of date.

That's weird. Seems like dump1090 is not running. Need to check with one of our devices...

Is the silver RTLSDR dongle connected properly?
