Can we access origin and destination of flight? was created by sss

Hello!
On opensky explorer there are more details than state vectors reveal through live api. Namely I would like to have access to the origin and destination of a flight. I know I can access an estimate origin and destination, but on explorer seem to be no guesses. Also the type of the aircraft would be interesting. Do you plan an upgrade of the api?

If we had the resources, then maybe.

But note that the routes in the explorer are experimental and only available for some selected commercial flights.

Given that the routes are, as you say, experimental. What is your take on others accessing the route and airport API (eg. opensky-network.org/api/routes)?

Well, it's not actively supported but possible, that's really all there is to say...no guarantees for anything, things could change at any point.
