AR FlightTracker ist eine Android App, welche als Projektarbeit an der Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart entstand.

Mit AR FlightTracker ist es möglich, über einen DVB-T Stick oder die Schnittstelle von OpenSky Network (opensky-network.org) Flugzeugdaten zu empfangen. Diese können dann auf einer Karte oder in einer Liste angezeigt werden.

Das besondere Feature von AR FlightTracker ist zudem die augmented reality Funktion, mit der Flugzeuge in der Kamera erfasst werden und Informationen mit einem Klick abgerufen werden können.

The less interactive version of my flight map clusters aircraft for low zoom levels. Layers with airports and airspaces are available. A more interactive version will follow later.
