Aircraft database: time dimension

I had a look at the OSN aircraft DB OSN aircraft DB and Plane Spotters DB .
It looks interesting to me to see that PlaneSpotters take the time dimension into account and have a lot of metadata, i.e. operator history.

Maybe something to ponder for OSN...airframes move ownership quite a lot in their lifetime...

Thoughts?

Our database format was designed to take a history of multiple registrations into account. However, we don't have any data. Official data sources always provide a snapshot of airframe registrations (mostly updated at midnight local time of the country) and sqb files, for example, don't contain historic data, either.
