Question about the vector state data

2 years 7 months ago #1850 by MK731
Hello,

I have two questions:
1) The information of the vectors states has been exclusively received in the frequency of 1090 MHZ?
2) How can we distinguish between information coming from ADS-B messages and information that does not? My approach for this is to check that a state vector contains all the data that ADS-B messages contain (position, speed, status and identification). Am I right?

Thanks in advance for your answer.
Have a nice day.

There are a lot of tables in the Impala shell, some of the tables' data comes from ADS-B, some from Mode S. All (except FLARM) is on 1090MHz.

If you read mode-s.org/decode/, you should get a better insight on this.
