user/password to setup wifi on the Pi

4 years 6 months ago #1168 by carbontracking
Hello,

I just flashed the new firmware (opensky-network.org/files/downloads/osky-kit_240218.img.xz) on the sd card and now I'd like to boot into the Raspberry Pi on the command line.

I want to set the Pi up to use wifi instead of the ethernet cable.
When I bought the kit, I was not aware that ethernet was the preferred network connection.

In my case this is not practical for the installation of the antenna.

The only place where i was a mention of a user/password was in the "Setting up SSH" section where is said the user pi had the password oskydefault

This does not work on bootup of the Pi however.

Is there a standard password for the root user in this firmware ?

Best regards,

Colm
